Christies Sdr. Hostrup Kro has 28 rooms. In the inn itself there are 6 tastefully furnished luxury rooms with e.g. mini bar- cable TV and free wireless Internet plus a large bathroom with either spa bath or steam bath. The remaining rooms in a separate wing are light and spacious and have bath- cable TV and free wireless Internet. The inn offers gourmet stays- weekend stays- golf holidays- mini holidays and wellness stays with treatment in the room. Party rooms good possibilities for courses and conferences and a cook school. For as long as it has existed Sdr. Hostrup Kro has of course served the bypassing travellers and at the same time it has been the natural gathering point for the local population when there were festive occasions to celebrate. This has not changed but the old inn has been replaced by an inn which tries to do its utmost both in terms of gastronomy and accommodation. During the ages the inn has been renovated and extended several times. The latest renovation was undertaken in 1997. Thus the cosy old inn has the best facilities including its own helipad - which is most likely unparalleled by any other Danish inn. The philosophy of the inn is that everything should be done 2 procent better; as an example the breakfast buffet includes fresh cold pressed apple juice from the inns own cider mill and in general the inn insists that everything should be homemade. Thus a gourmet experience at Christies Sdr. Hostrup Kro starts in the herb garden where the inn cultivates its own vegetables- herbs and fruits. The inn has its own smoking chamber out of which the chefs magic the finest smoked salmon- scallops and other delicacies. The wine cellar is also worth a visit and the skilled waiters of the inn take pleasure in sharing their knowledge about the delicious wines and the good ingredients of the menu.
