Bacon and coffee at breakfast looking our window. Staff was very nice.
Dumb rule - You cannot sit by window and eat until lunch.Mini-bar and staff does not make a four star hotel. You first need a four star building, rooms, and floor plan. The location.The dirty carpets.Hotel was ok, we had upgraded to a superior room and was glad we did it since the regular rooms are VERY small. Other than that, good value for the money.

Great central location. Within walking distance of many important sites as well as the central train station.Easy to miss if you are walking on the sidewalk.Friendly staff, great location and clean, comfortable rooms.

The upgrade to a superior room was worth the additional 25 Euro per day.Breakfast in the hotel was convenient but not worth the 11 Euro charge.The service was excellent. Location and staff.Noise (construction), room a little small.Excellent location but lots of noise due to construction on tram in front of the hotel at odd hours. Staff was friendly but the room was a bit cramped for two. Overall we were satisfied with the value and had a great time in Amsterdam.
