Guests will enjoy visiting the Alaska Railroad, watching a show at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts and various festivities on the Delaney Parkstrip located directly in front of the Clarion Suites Downtown. The hotel can be your base camp to such places as the University of Alaska, Anchorage, The Alaska Zoo. Pet accommodation: 150.00/stay. Pet limit: 2 pets per room. Very clean with modern interior. Close to restaurants and downtown.Tight parking shared with restaurant. Need better shower amenities.Nice place to stay. Very clean. Room was layed out nicely and the bed was very comfortable. Shower amenities were slim.

The room was more like a suite.You could hear the doors from the other rooms close loudly.This is very upscale I had a suite and I enjoyed it very much, The only thing wrong was that you could hear doors close from your room.

The rooms were spacious, breakfast outstanding.Way, way to hot and the room doors slam shut too noisy.The rooms were very nicely laid out. Clean and attractive. Great hot breakfast!Used by schools frequently. Hard to find a parking spot.I like the Hawthorn, and stay there when I am in Anchorage. It is used by school groups frequently and it is not in the best of shape (knobs broken off of dressers and such). With the school kids comes lots of noise.
