we were placed in the rear of the hotel...unsafe? initially we were given a smoking room??? yuck if we pay $100 for a room in Barstow CA, we have the expectation to be treated like a "paying" customer...not like a "Priceline" throwaway customer

Friendly hotel staff, plenty of parking & convenient location. Room was way overpriced. Mattress too hard, small bathroom, dirty bathroom walls, long wait for included breakfast. This would be a great hotel for a leisure traveler or family with kids. Although small, the pool and surrounding courtyard appeared to be well maintained.
