Our property is located on 3 acres with beautiful views of the peaks of the Otter Mountains. We are conveniently located between two major cities 20 minutes to Lynchburg and 30 minutes to Roanoke. There is a 2 Night Minimum Stay for May 11th and 12th 2012. Cancellation Policy is 60 days prior to stay. Elks National Home - 3 Miles Lowes - 3 Miles Walmart - 3 Miles Blue Ridge Parkway and The Peaks Of Otter - 11 Miles Poplar Forest, the summer home of Thomas Jefferson - 20 Miles Smith Mountain Lake State Park - 20 Miles Booker T. Washington Monument - 25 Miles Roanoke or Lynchburg - 25 Miles Excellent Dining through out all of Bedford Rollaway Beds Are Available At An Additional Cost Per Night. Pets Are Allowed With Permission At An additional Cost Per Pet Per Night.

Location.Bugs, smell, lack of internet in some rooms.Needs remodeling. Rooms musty, dingy. Glad to have appliances though frig got cool not cold. We liked the continental breakfast include with our stay.The room was smaller than the pictures shown on the website.The room was fairly comfortable for my family and I, though it was not refurbished as advertised. It was a bit cramped for four people, but we did enjoy the view and the breakfast.

Price and location.Older amenities.My family and I would use this hotel if we return to Bedford VA. It was worth the price and was clean.

The breakfast included our favorite waffles.The interior of the room was showing age, but still acceptable.We have visited this hotel many times, and would go again. It is our preferred choice over the super 8 across the street because of the value and room size.
