The Waldorf Astoria Berlin is under construction in the center of Berlin*s City West and will open in early 2012. The hotel is accepting reservations for September 1st and beyond. The Waldorf Astoria Berlin will offer five star luxury next to the world famous memorial church the Kaiser Wilhelm Gedachtniskirche and is set within the newly built Zoofenster building the highest building in Berlin*s City West rising up to a height of 118 meters designed by the renowned German architect Professor Christoph Maeckler. The interior of the hotel has been designed by Inter Art Etudes the Paris based internationally renowned interior architectural design firm. DINING The hotel has a range of restaurants and bars that mirror the zeitgeist persona of Berlin. Les Solistes by Pierre Gagnaire will offer a relaxed fine dining experience orchestrated by the world renowned celebrity chef. Romanisches Cafe the legendary 1920*s artisan meeting point will be reborn as an international grand cafe offering delightful pastries and light dishes. The cafe faces the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial church and has a summer terrace. The Lang Bar taking its inspiration from the classic American bars of the Art Deco era will carry forward the rituals of mixology debuted at the Waldorf Astoria. Peacock Alley the hotel*s Lobby Lounge located at the heart of the hotel will be a dining venue ideal for people watching and informal gatherings. ACCOMMODATIONS 182 Waldorf Astoria deluxe panoramic view and grand deluxe rooms 50 suites GROUPS AND EVENTS One 330 square meter ballroom divisible into three sections and offering natural daylight and a ceiling height of approximately 3 meters.
