Location Description: Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa, one of the largest resorts ever developed on Native-American land, is situated on more than 500 acres with spectacular views of the majestic Sandia Mountains and Rio Grande. The resort is a short 20 minute drive from Albuquerque and 40 minutes from Santa Fe. The resort overlooks a restored stretch of "Bosque," the native cottonwood forest indigenous to the Rio Grande, and includes the re-vegetation of native grasses and thousands of native trees.
Driving Directions: Take Sunport Blvd. West to I-25. Go North on I-25 to Exit 242 (NM550), go West on NM 550 to Tamaya Blvd. (approx. 2.5 miles). Go North (right) on Tamaya Blvd. to Tuyuna Trail.

The ambiance, The overall calm, the pool. We often visit with grandchildren.
Can't think of one thing.
This is a perfect resort hotel for a get away to enjoy excellent facilities for a family or couple. We use it for a day of swimming and hiking in a beautiful setting. This resort is one with the environment.
