It is home of the annual world famous Sorghum Festival which is held during the last three weekends in October. Dahlonga, less than 30 miles away, is a historic gold mining town where the family can pan for gold or visit the historic Gold Rush Museum. The rooms were very clean. It is easy to access. Four lane all the way. Very pretty countryside. Just below the Blue Ridge. It is country and friendly.
