Location Description: Located in Back Bay, an upscale residential, retail, and commercial office district. The Back Bay Hotel is situated in what is considered one of Boston's most expensive neighborhoods. Architecturally the neighborhood is dominated by Victorian brownstone buildings in its northern, more residential portion, and the southern part of the neighborhood is far more commercial and home to some of Boston's tallest skyscrapers. Back Bay is best-known for its expensive housing and shopping areas.
Driving Directions: Follow signs to Sumner Tunnel. After exiting tunnel. Take the Storrow Drive Exit 26. Follow Storrow Drive and take the Back Bay / Copley Square Exit. At the lights, take a right onto Beacon Street. Go two blocks and turn left onto Clarendon St. Continue for six lights and make a left onto Stuart Street. The hotel is located on the right at 350 Stuart St. 1 hr drive

The bar in bottom area, the bathroom was excellent.
No snacks in bar like chips pretzels etc.
The room was very nice and clean and above average in amenities. The decor of the hallways and lobby were very unique and the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful at all times. Concierge service was very handy.

Bellman, great restaurant, great fun bar, quiet, hotel staff makes you feel very important.
Parking was very expensive.
Hotel staff was superb, food was really good, loved the<BR/>atmosphere of this hotel. Great Irish pub downstairs, close to best seafood restaurant in Boston, Atlantic seafood.

Fitness room is a tiny closet with very few machines.

Able to buy simple breakfast in the hotel to take to the room at a reasonable cost.
