Front entrance was very attractive, liked the pool.We don't smoke, the room was a smoking room.Overall the staff was friendly, we asked to be moved to a non-smoking room, there was none available. They did give us some spray for the room, however, the bed linen stilled smelled of smoke at night.

Every single employee encountered was friendly and helpful.Our room was one of the few facing the highway and traffic was somewhat loud.This hotel has a convenient location for Pisgah National Forest and Brevard Music Center. The free breakfast was very nice.There was hair trimmings from previous occupant on bathroom sink.Very helpful and friendly staff. Pool was too cold for children. Hotel seemed to be made all of wood - which had me concerned about my children walking to heavy in the room.

Convenient to all attractions.Room smelled of smoke.Good location for day trips to the forests, Asheville and Parkway. The hotel is older and we were given a smoking room. This did bother me, a candle helped and the savings enabled us to do a few extra things on our vacation.
