Guest Ratings & Reviews for Holiday Inn Brisbane:
Cleanliness: 9.5 - Staff: 7.0 - Location: 9.0
Sep. 06, 2009
Overall Rating:
Great location, friendly staff, spacious and comfortable room.
Parking was $20/day.
I would definitely stay here again. Easy walking to many attractions and right next to the train station.

Overall Rating:
Extremely convenient location for getting around and seeing the sights.
Some of the staff didn't seem knowledgeable regarding car rentals or getting around.
Overall, we were very pleased with the hotel as it was fairly quiet (even though it was located in a very busy area) and it was extremely easy to walk to various attractions or to catch transportation if needed to attractions that were not close by.

Location.
View overlooked train station.
Great location but not an ideal view. Good value for a city center location.

Overall Rating:
Location excellent for downtown, transport central, restaurants, & sightseeing.
Internet connection service needs improvement.
Excellent choice for location to downtown. Shopping, sightseeing, and dining all walking distance.

Overall Rating:
Centrally located.
Too close to train station.
This hotel is located adjacent to the main train station in Brisbane, if you are traveling from the airport (even with lots of bags) taking the train is your best and cheapest option. Also convenient to downtown and bus and ferry stops.

Overall Rating:
It was clean and the initial staff was friendly.
For the first time ever, we had to make a complaint about a member of staff.
It also has limited use for non-US/ UK/ Mexican citizens as it kept asking me for zip or area codes if I recall correctly, these are not applicable in my home country as they are in the US/UK.

Overall Rating:
Courteous, friendly, helpful staff. Conveniently located by Transit Center, though not in the "prettiest' section of Brisbane.
They did not advertise (or make available in our room) the restaurant prices. We were appalled at paying $19.50 for a continental breakfast!
This Holiday Inn was a welcoming facility. All staff genuinely seemed eager to be of assistance to the guests. Our room was comfortable and clean. It would be helpful for the restaurant menus (including prices) to be available in the guest rooms. The Sydn...Read More

Most of the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful especially in recommending restaurants.
They mistook my reservation for Mr. Jason Feathers. When they saw that I was Ms. Joan Feathers, they made me wait and gave us a horrible room.
It is a nice hotel, reasonably priced, next to a great Park and relatively centrally located. However, after arriving from a 14 hour flight, they made us wait 5 hours for a "special room" which only had one bed when we requested two. Then they put us in a...Read More

The room was comparable to a Ritz Carlton!

We were blown away by how great this hotel was. It was located right next to the train depot, which was important to us. The room was huge and the bed was to die for. The reality far surpassed our expectations. Good job!
