Hotel Description:
The Carbondale Pride of Super 8 is located on IL Rt 13 directly across from the University Mall and two miles from Southern IL University. The Carbondale Super 8 is conveniently located 2 miles from Southern IL University and only 4 miles from John A. Logan Community College. There are many restaurants within a 1 mile radius and some within walking distance. There are numerous fishing and skiing lakes in the area and the Shawnee National Forest is 10 miles away. The beginning of the very impressive wine trail is only 10 miles from the property. The Carbondale Super 8 provides the Super Start Plus breakfast of Hot Waffles also featuring Free High Speed Wireless Internet in all rooms. Rooms with micro-fridge and coffee makers are available. We are a completely smoke free facility and pride ourselves on our clean well appointed rooms and our friendly helpful staff.

Room, breakfast and staff good.Not enough towels for 4 in bathroom.I would like to visit Carbondale again and will give the super 8 another change to do better next time. Thank you for our stay and hope to see you some time soon.

Very secure and safe at night.Very hard to get in to from the main road.If was a great place to stay at. The rooms were very clean. Somewhere great to stay, especially if you have a lot of things planned to o during the day. No reason to spend a lot of money for somewhere you are just going to sleep.

We were pleased with the staff and the service.Does not apply here.My husband and I were completely satisfied with the hotel room, the staff at the front desk and the location. We would go back to that hotel if we were to come to that area again.

They were friendly and very helpful and were centered on the population they served (college students).The hot water ran very slow.I would give the hotel an 8. Three stars for a college student wanting to o back and visit their old school.

I loved the cleanliness of the room.Nothing.The room was better than I hoped for the price I paid. I hated not being able to stay longer than one day but enjoyed my stay. It was relaxing and the perfect place to stay for such an affordable price.
