The location and the surrounding views. The Hotel staff were very accommodating.
The first room we checked into was fairly dirty.
Ideally located North of Charlottesville and nestled in the foothills of the Blue ridge mountains in an area with tons of Historic sites.

The hotel was clean and full of people traveling on business. When I told her I was traveling with an infant she agreed to give me a non smoking room.

Newly refurbished, but maintenance issues and slow staff mar.
The Doubletree is a refurbished 70's style hotel; the rooms are modern and comfortable, but there are parts of the hotels still stuck in the 70's. The dim, dank hallways are a put-off, and there seemed to be a lot of small maintenance issues, like broken ...Read More
