The extra charges, my sweater was taken from room, no follow up.I am not pleased with the experience. The service.N/AI had read some reviews prior to our stay. Some were not good. I also read the managers responses to improving ,and I think they did . We enjoyed the stay . The view from our room was great.

The front desk staff was excellent-inviting, warm, and accomodating.Family friendly, so a little loud. The bathroom had a mildew odor, but appeared clean.If you are traveling with family or business, this is an excellent pick at a good value. Location was great! Very clean and comfortable rooms.Lobby was not on ground floor but not a big problem.The ONLY negative about this hotel is the open atrium concept tended to be a bit noisy during evening cocktail hour.

The location of this hotel is very convenient. Our room had a fantastic panoramic view of Lake Michigan. The atrium was beautiful.We felt that the parking garage rate was extremely high and its entrance was not well marked.Our stay at the hotel was such a pleasant surprise.
