Here you are at the center of diverse activities and major shopping districts such as The Magnificent Mile and State Street.
Driving Directions: Via the Kennedy Expressway-exit downtown at Ohio St. Head east to the 8th light- turn right onto Wabash Ave. Cross the bridge and turn left onto Wacker Dr. Continue east into Swissotel Chicago. Via the Stevenson Exp.-take Lake Shore Dr. north. Exit at Randolph/Wacker. Veer left when you see the Wacker Dr. sign. Merge right and take ramp to Upper Wacker Dr. Make a U-turn at first light.
The hotel was beautiful, location was great and the view was spectacular.
Parking was expensive.

The location of this hotel was excellent.
The front desk staff and a couple of the concierge staff, could be a bit more friendly. Guest remembers excellent customer service.
This hotel is in a great location to all the sites and shopping. Really don't care to pay a fee per day per guest for the health club. Service at front desk could be improved.

Very clean hotel with good location to downtown.
You had to pay $15.00 per person per day for the pool.
This hotel was very nice. All expectations were met except for the pool.

The Palm, on-site, poor service, mediocre food at best - not what I expect for $70 a plate.
The Sofitel is wonderfully situated, just east of the Mag. Mile and north of Millennium Park - great for walking. Unfortunately, the parking is outrageous we chose to park at Millennium Park, which is rather expensive, but was still nearly half the price ...Read More
