Morning staff person at desk was friendly.
This place was dirty, smelled like mildew and had bugs!I would not recommend this hotel. There was a live spider crawling on the sheets when I pulled back the bedspread. Good staff.Almost everything! Basement shopping should have spent $10 bucks more and got a better hotel!Under new management and to their defense, they probably took over the past problems. However, there was mildew on the walls and shower. A little bleach could have taken care of it. All in all, it was a -1 star hotel for me.

The price of the rooms.That they said it was 1/2 mile from Fort Jackson and it was more like15 miles.The hotel was nice but I was disappointed that they say it was 1/2 mile from base and it wasn't. We looked for the hotel closest to the base so we didn't have to do so much traveling.
