Hotel Description:
The Sundy House, the home of the first Mayor of Delray Beach, Florida was built in 1902. The Sundy House is now known as the *Best Kept Secret* in Delray Beach. Our boutique Inn consists of eleven guest rooms or suites, each with its own individual personality. Our property boasts hardwood floors, hand-painted walls, and suites with full kitchens, living rooms, dining rooms and washers/dryers, in addition to balconies or patios. Our most deluxe accommodation, the historic cottage features a fireplace, plasma screen TV, Jacuzzi tub, and Rainforest showerhead. All room rates include breakfast. Our award winning restaurant Del La Tierra serves dinner and our famous Sundy Brunch voted best brunch in Palm Beach County by the Sun-Sentinel and Boca Magazine. Guest rooms and the restaurant are quaintly nestled in the heart of the Taru Gardens, home to over 500 species of exotic plants, ferns, fruit trees and bamboo. Cascading waterfalls, ponds and a tranquil tropical setting create a romantic atmosphere. We are proud to be known as the ecologically conscious oasis of Delray Beach.

A relaxing oasis. You can leave your worries behind and enjoy your vacation. A unique experience.The grounds are not well lit at night and it's hard to find your way back to the main gate especially in the rain.An absolutely beautiful hotel. Gardens are beautiful and the food was good.Staff and service was terrible. Lagging in response time and respect.The rooms are creative, the food good, and the garden beautiful, but the service and staff are terrible. We did not care for their attitude at all. It is too bad, such a pretty place with a nasty staff and service.
