Built in 1891 during the crest of Denver's Silver Rush, The Oxford is Denver's most Historic Grand Hotel. Located in the heart of Denver's newly renovated Lower Downtown ( LODO) the hotel is within walking distance of restaurants, bookstores, shopping, galleries and popular Nightspots. 80 elegant guest rooms, decorated in European antiques provide our guest with a sense of luxury and service. Amenities include 24 hour Room Service, complimentary morning newspaper, 100% cotton linens, in room CD players and hotel car service in the downtown area. Morning coffee and evening sherry are served daily in the beautifully appointed lobby.

Art Deco Standard: Rooms are located on the interior of the hotel with a Queen Pillow-top mattress. These rooms are decorated in similar French and English antiques as well as selected rooms decorated with Art Deco furnishing from the 1930's. 250 sq ft. Sleeps 2.
Art Deco Double: Rooms are located on the interior of the hotel. The rooms are decorated in the French and English D cor. These rooms are the only ones on the property with two separate full size beds. 350 sq ft. Sleeps 4.
Victorian Deluxe: These oversized rooms have either a King or Queen size, Pillow-top mattress, two overstuffed antique chairs. decorated in French and English Victorian decor, with selected rooms having a decorative fireplace. Located on the exterior of the hotel, Victorian Deluxe rooms overlook either 17th or Wazee Street with views of the Lower Downtown area. 350 sq ft. Sleeps 3.
Parlour Room: Sleeping room with a Queen or King size, Pillow-top Mattress and an adjoining seating area. Selected rooms have a sleeper sofa. These are decorated with French and English antiques. 400 sq ft. Sleeps 4.
Victorian Corner Room: Specialty upgraded Victorian Style room located on the corner of the hotel featuring larger windows and bathroom, one queen sized bed. 350 sq ft. Sleeps 2.
Classic Room: Classic Room - The Classic room, located on the interior of the hotel, is decorated in a classic style from the 1920s and 30s. They offer a Queen size bed. 250sq ft.

At $21 per day to park my vehicle, a longer stay would have becopme a financial burden.

walls paper thin, bed not very firm
Beautiful antique furnishings throughout, very attentive and friendly staff, but the room was rather noisy, walls were evidently not well insulated.
