The Empress Hotel commands a prime position on the Victorian promenade overlooking Douglas Bay on the Isle of Man. Built at the end of the last century; the hotel has been extensively upgraded resulting in an interior transformation. The hotel has 102 bedrooms of which there are 3 luxurious executive suites, a number of executive sea facing rooms and a fantastic top floor penthouse overlooking the whole of Douglas Bay. A large conservatory spanning the entire length of the front of the hotel provides the ideal place to relax, unwind and take in the panoramic sea views over Douglas Bay and the headlands. The contemporary Piano Bar lounge with seating for up to 130 persons is a focal point of the Hotel providing a wonderful social meeting area for coffee and drinks. A spiral staircase winds down to La Brasserie Restaurant, serving a wide variety of dishes including the old favourites amongst the more exquisite. The Empress offers a choice of two purpose built flexible conference suites. For smaller gatherings the Connaught suite is the perfect alternative with space for up to 60 delegates. In addition, syndicate rooms and breakout coffee and dining facility layouts can be arranged.
