For the angler, there is some of the world's best fishing, and for the active family, water sport activities include diving, snorkeling and kiteboarding.Hawks Cay is the largest resort in the Florida Keys and was rated number 2 in Florida by Travel + Leisure Magazine in 2009. Hawks Cay is only one of two hotels in the Florida Keys which offers a children's program.The other premier resort which offer a children's program, (Cheeca Lodge) ,is in Islamorada.

PLEASE NOTE: Villa accommodations identified as Village at Hawks Cay Villas do not participate in Hawks Cay Resort's rental program and do not have access to Hawks Cay's lagoon and beach, pools and specified restaurants. Renters of such Village units are not guests of Hawks Cay Resort.
Units within the Village at Hawks Cay Villas group may be very well appointed, may or may not have granite counters, stainless steel appliances, software goods, flat screen TVs, and upscale furniture packages.

You do have access to resort facilities( marina, marina store, watersports vendors, spa by appointment, etc. ) which are open to the general public.
