The Comfort Inn West is located off I-35 at 40th Avenue West Exit, minutes from downtown Duluth, Canal Park and Spirit Mountain. Guests will enjoy, indoor pool, hot tub/sauna and deluxe continental breakfast featuring scrambled eggs and bacon. Credit cards/debit cards are authorized 24 hours prior to arrival and must be presented at check-in. Hotel is NOT located on Lake Superior. Guest Hospitality Hour Mon-Thurs 5PM-7PM. It was clean, comfortable, and convenient. The staff was friendly.There was a lot of road construction near. The directions were not helpful.This hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was varied and nutritious. I'd stay there again.

Clean pool and hot tub. Computer access.New batch of flies crawling on bathroom floor on second morning.I asked for a non smoking room. Room smelled like smoke and must. Did not have a refrigerator or microwave.

Good continental breakfast.Sound level noisy, showers and slamming doors.Staff pleasant and close to were we were going but sound proofing leaves a lot to be desired.

The atmosphere of the hotel was very inviting.The employees at the hotel were a bit standoffish.The hotel was easy to find. It was well maintained and provided us with ample space. The hotel also provided information about local points of interest.

Nothing, the room key worked.Was not friendly enough, coffee and breakfast was old. Pool was dirt and room was dusty and dirty.I would not stay at this hotel ever again. I think it should be managed better!

Location for our needs.Room was not clean, poor bed linens, paid to much for what we got.The hotel room had not been cleaned. There was dirt on the floor in the bedroom and bathroom. the room color was drab. We had stayed there before and had a better room for the price.
