Now after ninety years as the Gasthof fur frohliche Leut - guesthouse for merry people the Hotel auf der Wartburg presents itself once again as a place of comfort of calm and merriment. As a guest to feel comfortable and secure as if at home might have become a rare thing - but it is not impossible.

Museum BachhouseThe Bachhaus Eisenach is the first museum in the world dedicated to Johann Sebastian Bach. The Neue Bachgesellschaft New Bach Society purchased the building in 1906. At that time it was presumed to be the birthplace of Johann Sebastian Bach.
