Welcome to the Econo Lodge North of Evansville. Our Econo Lodge is located only 4 miles from downtown Evansville with its many shops and fine restaurants. Sunset Park located along the banks of the Ohio River is only a short drive from the hotel, as is the Navy Warship LST-325. We are also only 4 miles west of the Eastland Shopping Mall and 5 miles south of the Evansville Airport. The hotel offers free highspeed wireless Internet access, besides having a large outdoor garden pool. Pet accommodation: 10.00 per night. Limit of 2 pets, per room. Contact hotel for prior approval. Cleaning fee: 100.00 USD may be assessed at the hotel's discretion to any guest who smokes in the guestroom

Pool was the nicest thing about the hotel
Steps going to second level were in disrepairNot very good. Stayed three nights, would not have stayed 2nd and 3rd night but it was pre-paid. Had a smoking room but no ashtrays. Nothing.The cement stairs to the second floor were crumbling.Although the lobby area looked fine and there were a large group coming in for a banquet, the rest was not good. Nice pool.A lot of highway workers lived there.Our room was clean and comfortable. The bed was a little hard. The pool area was very nice and clean. I would have been happier not having workers who lived there.

Close to downtown, at a very cheap price.Not enough soap and shampoo etc.Convenient location, close to everything you need, including downtown and the casino.

The size of the room was great.Repairs need to be done - i.e. painting.I would stay there again, it was comfortable and served my purpose.

The front desk help was friendly.The beds had dirty sheets and there were cob webs all over the room.Did not like my stay. Maybe if I was younger and had no kids with me this may have been okay.
