It have an awesome mountain view and the trolley service into town was excellent. 
The balcony was not nice. It had a stagnant water smell, and there was a gas smell in the hallway. Air conditioner was noisy. Very nice place to stay. The front desk staff was a bit rude. I was disappointed about the balcony, but that was it. Loved the mountain feel to the hotel; both with it being in the mountains and the decor. The only hotel in the area with a gorgeous view. Front staff wasn't willing to move us up and carpet needed repaired . Very quiet and relaxing. Location was perfect - away from the tourists area but very close to the park. Food was a little expensive and was good but not great. Loved this hotel! It's the best one in Gatlinburg regarding location. Up on a hill and away from all the tourism, but very close to the park. Staff was great. Trolley is very convenient and takes you to and from the hotel with minimal waiting.

We like the view of Gatlinburg, The Hotel was a neat design. The bed was very comfy! It needs updating, The showers went from extremely hot to extremely cold.
