Opening in September 2006, this stately 248-room hotel will offer never before seen levels of quality and service to the Gettysburg area. The Wyndham Gettysburg features 11 suites, two onsite restaurants, executive health club, indoor pool/whirlpool and approximately 16,000 sq. ft. of elegant meeting space. From corporate meetings and retreats to annual conventions, the hotel will host meetings up to 1,200 people. The Gateway Ballroom with its grand chandeliers and stunning beauty can accommodate 600 people for memorable wedding receptions, highlighting the gourmet cuisine of our French trained Executive Chef, Claude Rodier. Pet policy is $20.00 per day per pet, non-refundable, domestic pets only.

First class amenities. Beautiful decor. Excellent service. 
Nothing not to like. Amazing hotel, lavish rooms comfortable beds, exquisite bathrooms first class dining and guest amenities. Charming federal decorations area a appropriate referring to it's proximity to the Gettysburg battle field. Great for a romantic get away.

Location was good, lobby was very nice, flat screen TV was excellent, wish it was a little bigger. Bathroom was small. Tub was tiny, bathroom lighting was poor, and no fan. The hotel was very nice, the staff was pleasant. We asked for a king bed, which seemed undersized for a normal king, the bathroom was not how it appeared. Knowledgeable staff, clean room, great location off the highway, good food, and the staff was very friendly. Tried using the pool, card key wouldn't unlock door. Tried it next day, pool was good, but the whirlpool was closed. Had a great 2 days at my hotel in Gettysburg. Room was clean with plenty of towels and amenities. King sized bed was very comfortable. Totally fulfilled expectations. Nothing not to like. This is supposed to be a short survey. How does one review a cookie cutter type of hotel. I suppose the Gettysburg theme for interior furnishings was commendable.

The luxury of the sleeping accommodations. Lack of walkways in the parking areas. For the price we paid, this hotel was an absolute steal. Truly a lovely hotel!
