Friendly staff, interesting guest staying there, lovely rooms.Charged twice on my credit card for room - Hotel is investigating the error.El Tapatio offers a terrific hilltop panoramic view of Guadalajara. The hotel staff is very friendly. If you are bilingual in Spanish, you will get a good opportunity to exercise your vocabulary there if that's what you want.

My stay was very short . . . 6 hours . . . at night, as I had to catch a flight home from Guadalajara.On Friday night, there was a very loud rock band playing in the third floor room. It interfered with the serenity of the place.As I mentioned before, I was there for only 6 hours . . . in the night . . . but, it looked like a beautiful facility . . . perfect for either a family vacation or for a business/conference event. Beautiful, romantic and excellent service.Too far away from business and downtown.Clean rooms, excellent services, however again it is too far from downtown. Excellent meals and room service at a affordable price.
