Overall, it was good for a one night stay. The rooms were clean and we felt completely safe. We had trouble getting the in-room movies to work for awhile, but the staff was very friendly and helpful in getting it fixed.

We were placed in a smoking room instead of non-smoking and the front desk staff went out of his way to accommodate the needed change.
The neighborhood didn't appear very safe, It was quite noisy.

Breakfast was great!
The double beds!
The hotel staff was very friendly and cooperative. We made two requests and they were taken care of promptly. Breakfast selection was great. The hotel was very close to a lot of restaurants and grocery stores.

Proximity to highway.
Not a safe area.
Pool was not open, area was unsafe, staff was not very knowledgeable. I would not stay at the La Quinta again in Hampton, VA.
