The room was really nice and the bed was perfect.I did not like the fact this hotel did not have a restaurant.Over all review I would say it met my expectations and the location to the beach was perfect.

It was clean and well look after.The key didn't work at first but was fixed straight away.This is a well presented hotel, not particularly close to anything, but closes enough to LAX. Manhattan Beach is cool.

The staff was outstanding (friendly, competent).Elevators should have been vacuumed.This was the nicest, friendliest staff I have seen in a long time. The front desk people, breakfast room folks, and clean up staff were extremely nice.

The continental was better than average. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.The metro rail yard was a little noisy.If the location was better it could have been a three star hotel. It had a mix of travelers. Some business, tourist and family. Busy at the continental breakfast but had a good and fresh selection.

Had a refrigerator, microwave and internet - it was like an apartment.They closed breakfast really early on Labor Day - and a lot of people were disappointed.We really enjoyed our stay. It is in a nice area of town, not as close to the beach as we had hoped, but it was clean and we had a great time.
