The Hilo Seaside is a moderately priced hotel located on historic Banyan Drive just a few minutes from the airport. The hotel is known for its unique character- relaxed environment and Hawaiian hospitality. Our friendly staff- most of who are of Hawaiian decent- are happy to assist with your travel planning needs. Located on the east side of the Big Island of Hawaii- our hotel is surrounded by a fresh water pond filled with colorful fish and accented by tropical foliage and flowers. All spacious guest rooms have 1 king or 2 double beds and offer a refrigerator- air conditioning- remote control color TV- ceiling fan and a large balcony or private lanai. Kitchenette rooms are also available. Guests can relax by our outdoor swimming pool or Coconut Grill offers a relaxed dining experience for the entire family. Price and location.Rooms crowded together.Hotel was clean. Good bed. Very friendly staff. Kind of small and dreary, but a good value for the price.

Clean hotel and great friendly service.On the old side and could be more modernized, hard to carry heavy luggage up the stairs.Hotel is old but was clean. Beds were comfortable. Garden was very attractive.

Price of room was well worth the stay, friendly staff.The check-out had no receipt for me, but needed my credit card for transaction?Usually stay at this hotel when in Hi lo. Great location from the family house and dining. Always a pleasant to stay here.
