Free coffee in the morning.
Wanted a non smoking room, the room we got smelled like someone had just smoked in it the night before!

Convenient location. Slept good.
Thin towels, no washcloths, scratchy toilet paper.
They have 1 table at the continental breakfast, but hardly any breakfast selections. No fresh fruit or yogurt. Just a couple of Danishes and a carton of cereal.

This hotel was nice and cheap.

Other reviews I read told of mold and cleanliness problems at this hotel. I didn't notice anything particularly unclean about it, however the odor of disinfectant was strong, staying with my clothes after I left. The area seemed reasonably safe.

Room was cozy and everything was easy to find.
The shower in the hotel could use some remodeling.
This was a good place to stay. The front office clerk was very friendly. Our room was very clean overall. The bathroom was clean but the shower should be remodeled. Overall, we were satisfied with the service and the room.

Location for what we needed was OK.
In all my years of travel only one with no coffee pot of any kind.
Would not stay here again or recommend it. Very disappointing.

It has free shuttle service to Rice University from Monday to Friday.
Facilities are not good. It provides only soaps, no shampoo, no conditioner, and no lotion.
Kitchen should be advanced. It's hard to stay there for a long time if there is only microwave available for cooking.

Very "50's" style. Room smelled musty.

Absolutely nothing. It was absolutely disturbing.
Everything. Dirty, scary, bugs, stains, broken furniture, mold smell.
This hotel was absolutely disgusting, and should be condemned and torn down. From the mold smell, stained linens, lack of shower head, bugs, and broken furniture, I might have faired better sleeping in my car. I am still trying to disinfect my belongings....Read More

Old worn furniture, no coffee pot in the room, old, worn looking bed blankets, spread.
Nice grounds, 1950 look, with shoddy furniture.
