Hotel Description:

Front desk hours are 2 PM to 9 PM. Children age 12 and up are welcome at the adult rate. The Bronze Antler is an American style bed and breakfast with European influence. Our 1925 Craftsman Bungalow was originally home to one of Josephs sawmill supervisors. The warm patina of original woodwork, copper-plated hardware, and period-inspired hand-painted stencils accents all rooms. Local craftspeople helped us restore this home in keeping with the William Morris tradition of the European Arts and Crafts movement. Our living and dining rooms hold a mixture of European antiques and comfortable furniture. A DVD-dedicated TV - no satellite or cable channels, games, puzzles, and a library of hiking guides, field guides, and local books and maps are available for your use. Plan your day of gallery hopping and bronze foundry touring. Reconnoiter for your hike or bike ride, or plan your wilderness horseback or llama trek. Browse through our local restaurant menus while sipping complimentary soft drinks from the guest refrigerator. Secure wireless internet access throughout property. Bring along your laptop for checking email and surfing. In the morning Bill serves a wholesome, savory breakfast prepared from many local ingredients. We believe in choice - you tell us when you would like your breakfast between 730 a.m. and 9 a.m. Pop downstairs as early as 6 a.m. and take a cup of delicious organic coffee or a spot of tea back to your room or in a go-cup so you can take in the morning freshness at our nearby Joseph City Park. Hot water for tea or cocoa and individualized coffee service is always available. Refreshments and Heathers fresh desserts are set out later in the day. Enjoy them in our living room or outdoors on the covered porch. Looking for a late night snack - raid the bottomless cookie jar. We feature regional wines of the Columbia River Valley in our cellar. Please feel welcome to bring along your own favorites. Glasses and corkscrews are available in each guest room.
