Hotel Description:
One of the finest hotels in Southeast Alaska is the Cape Fox Lodge. Located in Ketchikan, within the heart of the Tongass National Forest, Cape Fox is set amidst this countries last frontier. Situated on a hill overlooking the city, the hotels interior style is reminiscent of a ski lodge, with a river rock fireplace, pine-beamed ceilings and overstuffed furniture. Cape Fox Lodge captures and reflects the areas Native Alaskan heritage with exquisite Southeastern Alaska cultural motifs from the totem poles at the hotel entrance to the stunning carved screen and many artifacts throughout the lobby and second floor landing.

Driving Directions:
From the Airport ferry, take a right onto Tongass Avenue. Follow Tongass Avenue through 3 stoplights, heading for downtown. After going around the tunnel, you will be on Front Street. Follow Front Street through 1 stoplight, staying in the center lane, and go past Mission Street. A 45 degree turn will put you on Mill Street. Stay in the center lane and then take your second left onto Bawden Street. Follow Bawden Street through Mission and Dock Street. At the "Y", keep to your right. You are now on Park Avenue. Cross the bridge and Venetia will be on your right. Follow Venetia up the hill to the Cape Fox parking lot.

The homey feel and artwork. Not very many items on menu for kids. Beautiful scenery and facility. Wonderful, friendly waiters and cooks in the restaurant.

Great view, wonderful setting, great staff. Hotel's conference room did not meet expectations. I had a great time at this hotel. Great location with the tram to downtown, nice rooms and a fantastic view. Overall Rating:
Location-private and secure. Bed was poor quality-needed more comfort. Great experience. Arrived at hotel and was greeted and served well. Room was nice and clean. Would stay there again.
