South Maui-s best beachfront value. Guests can stroll the Aston Maui Lu Resort with Maui-s oldest coconut grove on our 28 lush acres. Guest rooms are spread throughout the grove and gardens with our deluxe rooms adjacent to the white sand beach - perfect for sun-tanning and whale watching. All rooms have mini-refrigerators. The Maui Lu has a unique- large swimming pool and two tennis courts where play is always complimentary. Our Activity Desk is always ready to make arrangements for golf- water sports - or sightseeing. In the evening Kihei is an ideal location with numerous restaurants and entertainment venues. Outdoor pool uniquely shaped like the island of Maui has been renovated and resurfaced. New furniture- picnic and a bbq area has been added. I liked the price, the grounds, and the location.
I felt it was outdated and a bit dingy.The grounds were beautiful, but the room we stayed in felt outdated and a bit dingy. The bed was very hard, and the bathroom needs new caulking. I was glad to have an AC unit in our room, even though it was quite noisy.

Staff accommodated an early arrival.Windows weren't completely sealed when closed.Very pleasant, affordable with good location. Quiet, comfortable and meeting my basic needs with very helpful staff.

Across the street from the beach.Hotel room and pool area outdated, in desperate need of a facelift.Room was old and outdated but clean. Definitely for the budget minded traveler. Staff was friendly, grounds were clean. Decent location, across the street from the beach, but what isn't in Kehei.

Old Hawaii ambiance on 28 spacious acres by the sea.Some stuff was broken, repairs were made quickly.I enjoyed the fact that this was once a large 28 acre 1950's estate and it still had some of that feel. Too much of Maui is all elbow to elbow. The Maui Lu was Hawaii all the way, local style.
