The inn was constructed in the Civil War era by James A. Brown, an attorney and a graduat of West Virginia University. He fell in love with a beautiful girl named Isabel who was from Baltimore. They were married and the hose was given to Isabel as a wedding give from her loving husband. There are either guest rooms, all with private baths. WiFi and DirectTV reception are available in all rooms. Check-in is at 4 00 PM. Guests planning to arrive before or after this time must contact the property at least 48 hours prior to arrival to receive special check-in instructions.
