Originally established as a tobacco inspection center in 1759 along the banks of the Neuse River , the city was first known as Kingston (named for King George III of England). In 1784 following the revolutionary war the people of Kingston requested the letter G be dropped. In 1826 Kinston was incorporated. The rooms was clean and the location was wonderful.The pull out sofa was broken and you had to request room service to make your bed.N/A

The staff was extremely interested in making my stay pleasant.The non-smoking rooms were right next to smoking rooms.Great value for the price. Clean hotel and helpful staff. Didn't like how my non-smoking room was next to a smoking room, but they were willing to switch rooms for me, if I had needed to. Breakfast was free but nothing outstanding.

Friendly staff.Room did not meet needs.Room supplied was 1 king-sized bed/ smoking I have an asthmatic child and 4 people in my party. This is not satisfactory service.

The hotel had a movie theater and restaurants around it.People were hanging around outside the building late in nightThe hotel was good and had very convenient places surrounding the hotel. Plenty of restaurants, etc. The movie theatre next door was awesome! Hotel staff great!

Great facility, staff excellent.N/AWonderful place, well situated for easy access for the traveler. Super clean, comfy beds and pillows. Clean breakfast area, good food selection. Would stay again and recommend to family and friends.

Clean rooms, good breakfast.No weights in exercise room.Great location, nice hot breakfast, cookies on arrival, nice pool, I would definitely stay here again!
