Within walking distance from shopping, dining and beach.A little noisy at night, but not too bad.Very nice elegant hotel, staff very helpful, and the "turn down service" was a nice surprise when we got to the hotel at night. The room was a little small, but for two it's perfect and romantic.

The hotel is historic and has some great original pictures displayed. I loved the history of the hotel and community.Truly not enough time to enjoy all that the hotel and la Jolla have to offer.
