The La Porte Super 8 is located right in front of Pine Lake and is a convenient motel for individuals traveling on either I-94 or I-80/90. Soldiers Park is only a few minutes away where you can enjoy the beach, hike the trails, go fishing and have a picnic. The Lighthouse Premium Outlet Mall, the Blue Chip Casino and the Indiana State Dunes Park are all within a half hour drive. While you are here, enjoy the various antique stores that La Porte has to offer. If you happen to be going to a Notre Dame Football game, the La Porte Super 8 is the perfect place to spend the night before the Fighting Irish take the field on Saturday. * The La Porte Super 8 was recently renovated in May 2006, so expect the best. Location was okay.The food left in the fridge.The room was dirty with food and hair from previous customers. The bedding was dingy and dated. Was not a pleasant or comfortable stay at all.

Great people, great location, and great price.Farther than I thought from 80/90.I would stay at this hotel again. It met my requirements plus it was a very quiet hotel. Clean and great front desk lady, very helpful. Just stayed there Aug. 5th, 2009.

Great front desk lady, so helpful and kind, best I have ever seen in 20 years.Seemed far from 80/90.All this talk about bed bugs made me wonder so I called they said they had it all fixed and you know what me and my entire wedding party took up the 1st and 2nd floor of the hotel and no bed bugs like though the complainer that was kicked out of hotel on ...Read More

It was economical and close to the location we were traveling to.Parking is very limited and lot is very tight.Was as we expected but parking lot is a nightmare if more than 3 cars try to move at once.

NiceTV set that's about it.
Dark, dingy hallways and not railing to assist at the entrance and exit of the building with quite a high step-up.Will probly never stay there again. Felt kinda of dingy.
