Belgian waffles at the continental breakfast and playground for young children. 
Tattered American flag. I read some very bad reviews about the hotel. I find it hard to believe those reviewers stayed at the same place I did. The hotel looks like it recently had a makeover maybe that made the difference.

Extremely competent and helpful desk staff. Scary neighborhood! Clean, well furnished room. Comfortable beds. Nice shower/bathroom facilities. The Playground & Pool. They left the pool open an hour later! There were no fitted sheets on the beds but flat sheets that kept falling off. The vacant room next to ours had an alarm going off at 6:30 am for about 45 minutes. After a call to the front desk it took them about 30 minutes to come up and shut it off.

I liked the overall decoration and construction of the hotel. The restaurant was over priced. The parking lot was icy and unsafe. This hotel was close to the turnpike.
