Very nice manager.Room smelled like rotten eggs, a dog crapped in the hall outside our door.We got the worst room they had because it was sold out. The management was very nice and tried to solve the odor problem with a spray which 1/2 worked. They allowed people with dogs to stay. Saturday night, one of them "messed" in front our door. Classic charm with modern amenities.Parking was not ideal.Great hotel, close to Washington Ave. Restaurants, pubs and shops. Great value for location and amenities. Rooms are a bit tight for active children, but very comfortable for couples and business travelers. No on-site parking, but garages are close.
