The bathroom grout lines were black and that is the best of the hotel room.Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The free Continental breakfast was good.Hard to figure out how to get to it and the bed was a bit hard for my liking.I would recommend this hotel. It's not brand new, but has been well maintained. It has a nice free Continental breakfast, but the chairs in the dining area are miserable. I will use this hotel again if I am in the Madison area.

Private with all typical conveniences readily available.Not enough close parking.If a quiet economical hotel is what you are looking for then this place is exactly what you are looking for. Highly recommend it for the price.

Close to an Indian casino within one mile.Casual check out procedure and credit card requirement upon check-in.This is a cost effective hotel, although it is not glamorous, the accommodations were relatively clean and the bed was comfortable. It had 4 walls.Bad shower head, water temp control, few outlets, small ironing board, still uses metal key for room lock.It was just enough to get by, but it was barely worth the $. Wouldn't stay there again.

Only its location to the city.Tiny room, crappy towels, was stinky, felt equal to a Motel.The only thing this hotel had going for it was the location to the city of Madison. Staff was very helpful, friendly.Very old; in East not West Madison as map indicated.The furniture and beds were very old as was the bathroom.
