There are lots of fine dining or casual eateries in the area. White water rafting and water tubing is 5 miles away. We are only 4 miles from Cataloochee Ski resort and snow tubing. The pillows were so comfortable.I had to run the fan all night to drown out the neighbor's television.I really liked this hotel. My room was welcoming with a nice view of a mountain creek. The breakfast area was neat and clean with small, but tasty breakfast choices.

Air conditioner worked well.A non-smoking room, but when I arrived there was a cup with cigarette, butts on the table which made the whole room smell terrible.The staff was very inefficient, not friendly and not helpful, the breakfast was not very good. As I stated before I had to change plans and only stay 2 nights instead of 3, for a third night that I was not there and was overpriced to begin with.

Creek view.Was being remodeled, pool was not available.Room was nice but sink drain leaked. Needed to put a waste basket to catch the water. Coffee pot did not work properly. Had to prop the handle of a tooth brush to get it to work.

Decent front desk staff.Smelly rooms and corridors, dirty carpets, construction noise, pool out of order, stained towels, unattractive rooms, bad view from window.Not worth the money. Cleanliness takes a back seat. Hopefully will improve with the upgrade that disrupted the peace during our stay.
