Hotel Description:

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the 14-story luxury hotel is an excellent example of Italian Renaissance Revival architecture and is rich in the imagery of the early 20th century Delta region. It is home to the Peabody Marching Ducks, who travel to and from the Grand Lobby fountain everyday at 11AM and 5PM, in a ritual that has become internationally famous. The Peabody recently completed a top-to-bottom, multi-million dollar renovation that included all guest rooms and public spaces. Located in the heart of downtown, The Peabody is just three blocks from Beale Street. "Entirely Non-Smoking" facility.

The hotel is beautiful and full of history.
The staff at the front desk was rude and unhelpful. They also were hard to understand. They didn't speak English very well.

Fabulous hotel lobby with bar-family can sit and enjoy themselves.
I loved everything about the hotel.
Upon arrival, my room was upgraded to 2 double beds at no extra charge. I was also given free parking and internet access. I will definitely stay again!

They have the most wonderful desserts in the deli/dessert shop
The unexpected daily service charge and parking charge. Together they were $26.00 per day.
