The Travelodge Mill Valley is located in Peaceful Marin County, yet only 15-20 minutes from Downtown San Francisco and the financial district. We are just a short drive to picturesque Sausalito, Tiburon, and Downtown Mill Valley. A restaurant is on the premises for your convenience and four other excellent restaurants are within walking distance. It is only a five minute drive to reach many fine restaurants in quaint Sausalito. Our 48 attractively furnished guest rooms and suites offer you a choice of King, Queen and Double size beds. All rooms have air conditioning, touch-tone phones, color TV and free HBO. Several rooms have large Jacuzzi tubs for your relaxation. In a mild sunny climate, the Travelodge is situated on Richardson Bay near a Wildlife Refuge with rolling hills. The Golden Gate National Recreational Area, Muir Woods, Stinson Beach and Mt. Nothing special.
Nothing special.It was a basic hotel. Facilities are rather dated. It's well maintained, but an old facility. I expected a nicer Jacuzzi for the cost and location. It wasn't a bad room, but nothing to write home about.

I was surprised how relatively quiet it was considering its proximity to the freeway.The bed was quite hard.It is definitely a low budget hotel but the room was clean and adequate and it was convenient to where we needed to be. Also they did not have a two night weekend minimum like most other hotels in the area.

The morning coffee was hot.Noisy location, run down and not real clean.I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I would have been much happier paying $20 to $40 more too obtain a clean, well maintained room elsewhere. This motel's banister had dry rot 75% through the railing.

Cannot do that.Did not meet the advertised standards.The hotel was poorly kept with strew garbage, torn rug outside the room area. Area outside and in the room had a stench of mildew. Advertised continental breakfast challenges the meaning of breakfast.

The thing I like best about this hotel is that I got to leave it.Everything. Poor TV reception, mold and mildew in the baths, rude staff.This place is really sad. The "free cable with HBO" would be great if the TV had more than 1 channel that came in clearly. Location for the activity we were attending.Room was not ready when we arrived 2:30 pm not when we returned the next day to rest at 2:30 it was finished around 5 pm.It could be a good hotel with some deep cleaning up and enough qualified help to get the job done. Warm bed.Screen in window very dirty and the ceiling had water damage.If you just need a place to sleep it is OK if you ignore the water stains on the ceiling and do not open the bathroom window.
