Situated in a quiet residential area about 10 blocks from downtown- the hotel is 5 blocks from the Art Museum- Summerfest- Northwestern Mutual Life- and Johnson Controls- 1/2 mile from Marquette University- 2 1/2 miles from Miller Brewing- and 3 miles from University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. The Knickerbocker combines turn of the century charm and exceptional guest service to provide the highest standards of hospitality. The hotel has retained much of the original charm in the lobby with vaulted ceilings- crystal chandeliers- and the original terrazzo floors. Each uniquely decorated guest room offers free high speed Internet- full kitchens- coffee makers- hairdryers- irons and boards- and digital cable. We have two critically acclaimed restaurants in the hotel- The Knick which is an upscale cafe and the Osteria del Mondo- which is a fine dining Italian restaurant. The Knick is open for lunch and dinner Monday - Friday- and open for breakfast- lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday. The Osteria is open for dinner only Monday - Saturday and is closed on Sunday. Both restaurants have outdoor patio dining in addition to the main dining rooms. The Juneau Room would be available for small meetings and has a capacity of approximately 35 people.
