Moline is the World Headquarters of Deere & Co and the only place the Mighty Mississippi River runs east to west. We are home to the TPC Golf Classic, the Bix Jazz Festival as well as three gaming riverboats, Celebration Belle and Circa 21 Dinner Theater. The District in Rock Island and the Davenport riverfront offer many summer festivals. We are home to Rock Island Arsenal; perhaps the most important spot in terms of the history of the Quad Cities. You can visit the National Cemetery, Fort Armstrong, and the Colonel Davenport Home. Outdoor enthusiasts can hike, cycle, canoe, horseback ride, and picnic on the river. Residence Inn can provide you with all the comforts of home with all the features of a Marriott hotel; such as free hot breakfast buffet, evening social, indoor pool and fitness center, friendly staff, and so much more., The heater for our swimming pool is not working and we are waiting for delivery and installation of a new one. We estimate the pool will be closed through January 27, 2012.
