Our Family Unit contains three Queen beds in two rooms. Two Queen beds are in one room with a television and another Queen bed is located in a separate room with its own television. This room is perfect for extended stay business people and large families where the parents might like a little privacy. Our two bed rooms are great for the family with children, two couples, or two friends looking to enjoy the beauty of the Monterey Peninsula. All of our two bed rooms come with 2 Queen beds. Our single bed queen rooms are perfect for the individual or couple traveling short or long term. These are our most popular daily and extended stay offerings. Location Description: In Monterey, at the intersection of North Fremont Street and Casa Verde Way, across the street from Dennys. -- Directions -- Take US Highway 1 exit 402 to Casa Verde Way. Turn East on Casa Verde Way and travel to North Fremont Street. The El Castell Motel is at the intersection.
The hotel was very easy to find. The looks on the outside and inside were great. The two queen side beds were very comfortable and the room was very big. We were only there for one night, but we are planning on return to stay longer. <BR/>

Very clean and very inexpensive. Would stay there again.
Heated pool was a little too cold
Better than expected. Nice rooms, and staff. Plan on using this hotel again.

Easy access from highway.
No in room coffee or clock. Excessive charges to change room type.
Motel was not flexible, though they barely had anyone staying at that Motel and could have accommodated us. We will not stay there again!
Very big room.
