The shower drain was so poor that the water pooled.
This hotel was convenient & close to downtown Monterey and the featured tourist attractions. However, the drain in the shower was so slow that water backed up & pooled up to your ankle, dirty water all around your feet was irritating!

The clerk was really nice and easy to talk to.
The role bed was not comfortable, springs were hurting went through the bed.

Nice room style/comfort for star rating.
Cramped room.
The room, a queen, was relatively nice for the level of hotel, clean and comfortable. However, it was a little costly for a room at that level, cramped. A lot in a little space. Not a lot of parking, which was a little inconvenient.
