The price.
It was rather run down.
It was a fair value for the star rating. I'd stay there again. Some people seem to expect a 5-star hotel for a 1-star price.

Staff was okay with what they had to work with.
One of the worst stays I have ever had, but this facility should have not been offered.
Poor area of town with no conveniences of restaurants or stores. Rooms were filthy and I was placed by the pool which had noise late into the evening beyond the usual hours of operation.
