Marble in the bathroom was nice!
Ceiling sheetrock had holes in it - needs repair.
Room wasn't bad, way smaller than expected, but comfortable. Bed slept well, but wasn't attached to the headboard anymore. Jacuzzi tub was a joke. Nothing more than a normal size bathtub with some jets. Service was good. Lobby entrance was scary. Parking ...Read More

Being able to control the air.

My room was nothing but a dump. The toilet ran, the shower was so small I had to turn sideways to get into it. The shower rod was a piece of wood, the linoleum in the bathroom was cracked and raised, the brick wall had a crack that ran all the way down, t...Read More

Location.
The deception.
This hotel is very deceptive. Everything you see on the negative is true.

Very little.
No parking and no elevator - this was not indicated in your description of the hotel - if it had been we would have never booked.
My daughter made this reservation for me, along with a reservation for herself and her husband. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that there were no parking facilities available and that there was also no elevator. I am partially disabled, and ha...Read More

The air conditioning worked really well.
No parking!
We didn't get maid service. The room was very small. The hotel doesn't provide parking. The hotel staff recommended a place for us to park and we got a ticket. Another member from our group got his car towed! I do not recommend this hotel.

I did not like this hotel at all.
This hotel does not have elevators and my room was on the top floor and I had two weeks of luggage.
This hotel is not for people traveling with their family and I rate this hotel a 2.

Good bed.
Room smelled like food (kitchen was under the room).
I paid extra for a marble shower and got a regular tub in the bathroom. I want a refund immediately for the extra amount I paid. The manger of the hotel royal, Rochelle harries, can be contacted to substantiate my claim.

I loved the marble bathroom with the sliding glass door.
There wasn't a lot of space. The bed was too close to the wall that used to be a fireplace.
I enjoyed the location of Hotel Royal to Bourbon Street. It was close enough but still far enough away to not hear all the noises. The bed was comfortable, the balcony was nice, and the bathroom was beautiful!
