Located at 550 Route 1 South, we are directly across from Newark Liberty International Airport. The Wyndham Garden Hotel Newark Airport is just 15 miles from NYC, 5 miles to Jersey Garden Outlet Mall, 5 miles to the New Jersey Performing Arts Center and only 12 miles to the Meadowlands Sports Complex. From Newark Airport exit the Airport following signs for 1&( North and 21/22. Stay to the left following signs for Routes 21/22 Newark (you will pass the WYNDHAM GARDEN HOTEL on your left). Take 22 West to the Frelinghuysen Ave. exit: at the Exite light make a left nd another left at the next light onto 22 East (actually a U-turn). Stay to your right, following signs for 1&9 South (Main Terminals). Wyndham Garden Hotel will be on the right.ssible.

Unless you had a rental car, you were stuck with no way to get to any stores.

The staff was rude and inconsiderate at times. The shuttle is also not very well scheduled.

Rooms are contemporary and visually pleasing.
Surrounding area is "rough". Hotel is not soundproofed at all (e.g. other guests, highway noise, airplanes, housekeeping).

Shuttle bus to the airport.
Bed was uncomfortable.
It was conveniently located to the airport allowing me to get to the airport quickly for my early morning flight. It therefore served its purpose.
